A J Bernard has been a Business Development and Investment Consultant since 1969. He is on the advisory board of Business Digest magazine. He has survived nearly 40 years of real estate intrigue from residential to international sales, developing and consulting.

Amy Chorew

Amy has been teaching real estate professionals throughout Connecticut and greater New England for over five years. She is a specialist in hands-on training, taking professionals from start to finish in their skill development and education. Amy has served as a staff trainer for many large real estate companies throughout Connecticut. She authored and delivered dozens of hands-on courses for beginner and advanced users in classrooms ranging from 5 to 15 stations.

Kathryn Freda

Kathryn Freda is the Director of Reverse Mortgage Lending for Webster Bank covering the state of CT and is a speaker, trainer and panelist. Ms. Freda is a member of the American Society on Aging and was appointed by the Governor to the State of CT Commission on Aging. As an industry expert, Ms. Freda has been in the lending field for over 20 years and has counseled hundreds of Seniors and their families about this important financing option.

Robert Lamparelli

Robert Lamparelli, Vice President of Technical Operations of RES-I-TEC, Inc. worked with RES-I-TEC as chief inspector helping to develop many of the systems and standards that RES-I-TEC uses today. Mr. Lamparelli was owner and operator of a custom home building firm. He developed and completed a custom home sub division in Stamford, Ct. And built many other fine homes throughout Fairfield County, Ct. He is a charter member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Mr. Lamparelli helped in the formation and development of the Southern New England Chapter (SNEC). He served two terms as President of SNEC.

Gary Lavigne

Gary Lavigne is a practicing attorney with the law firm of Barlow, Murphy & Lavigne, LLP where he focuses on Real Estate and Business law. He is currently legal counsel for the Tri-County Board of Realtors and represents a number of lending institutions in both their lending and foreclosing activities. Gary has written numerous articles on foreclosures, estate planning and limited liability companies, as well as, a book on investing in financially troubled properties. Having sold real estate himself many years ago, Gary is very sensitive to the issues facing the Realtor in their day to day activities and focuses his talks on making their business transactions as smooth as possible.

Donato (Denny) Maisano is the president of Maisano Associates Real Estate Appraisers and Real Estate Lending Services, Inc. based in Cheshire, CT. He has been an appraiser for over 25 years and has attained the Senior Real Property Appraiser (SRPA) and Senior Residential Appraiser (SRA) designations. In addition to holding a variety of State, Regional and National leadership positions with the Appraisal Institute and the Mortgage Bankers Association, Denny is also a registered lobbyist. A frequent panelist and national speaker, Denny is currently the Chairman of the CT Real Estate Appraisal Commission.

Ron Passero, ASHI

Ron Passaro is the President of Res-I-Tec, Inc., a full service home inspection company. He founded the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and as their first National President, set the standards by which home inspections are performed in the United States. In addition to being a national speaker and lecturer, appearing on numerous national radio and TV shows, Ron was recently appointed by the Governor to Chair the newly formed Home Inspectors Commission that sets educational and licensure standards for the state of CT.

He has been a real estate broker, professional trainer, mortgage sales manager and real estate analyst/lecturer. Barry received his Master's degree from Columbia University, earned the Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI) designation from the Real Estate Educator's Association, is a Certified General Appraiser and Licensed Real Estate Broker.
