Leadership Training for State and Local Associations
Successful team building is the cornerstone of an association's future. Cultivating current and future leadership requires methodical planning and preparation. These programs will benefit both new and seasoned volunteers to interface productively with their association executive and support staff. Each program is designed to establish a bi-lateral set of expectations so that everyone in the organization can perform to their ultimate ability.

Members often wonder what their dues dollars do for them. This presentation will demonstrate the benefits a member receives for their dues dollars to the National Association and can be easily enhanced with additional slides to include state and local association benefits.

Synergistic Teambuilding
This PowerPoint presentation demonstrates the job descriptions of the entire leadership team, directors, committee chairs, vice-chairs and how everyone interfaces with the association executive or their staff liaisons. In addition to defining roles and goals, it also reviews a framework for planning and implementation and discusses effective delegation versus the pitfalls of micro-management.
Extended versions of this program can incorporate team exercises and breakout sessions and a video can also be intertwined that demonstrates effective meeting strategies so that everyone's time is valued and respected. View the PowerPoint show.

Volunteers for Life! Locating, cultivating and motivating volunteers won't happen by accident. This program provides insight into where to look, neutralizing roadblocks to volunteerism and utilizing new and existing vehicles to recruit more volunteers into the organization. Issues of Multi-Level Leadership
Every volunteer in a leadership capacity or member of a Board of Directors has responsibilities to the organization but when they serve on more than one level of the association, responsibilities can get confusing. This program identifies potential areas of conflicting interests and issues when voting. Setting a good example for others is also explored when a volunteer is a member of a Board of Directors. Leadership training should be an annual event that establishes a framework of expectation so that the organization can run smoothly. Programs should be relevant, timely, informative and FUN.
